HPS Solar was always a dream for Phil Smit - our director, and he knew one day he would have the opportunity to fulfill his dream. Phil has been in the photovoltaic industry for many years and cut his teeth working on lead-acid battery systems partnered with the older inverter systems. He learned and grew with technology as it changed in the renewable energy industry over the last 10 years.
Phil's passion is his clients- he dedicates himself to giving them the best options and services possible.
We are proud of the path we have walked as individuals, allowing us to take our knowledge and apply it to each client - to better equip them on their renewable journey.
HPS Solar was a dream for Phil, and it became a reality in 2021 - and is now a passion for every staff member: day in, and day out.

OUR QUALITY PRODUCT PROMISE
HPS Solar endeavors to always stay at the forefront of changing technology, and regulations- and for that reason we ensure all our installations meet the South Africans National Standard (SANS Regulations). Our installations are safe and signed off by an independent electrician who will issue a Certificate of Compliance for the electrical work completed.
We pride ourselves on using products that are some of the best in the industry, which meet all the regulations set out by the South African National Standards and International Standards.
